Who We Are

We are Shane (Canadian Idol Top 5 finalist) and Angela Wiebe from Abbotsford, British Columbia. We have two young children, and the thought of them having to go to bed hungry at night, or not having clean water to drink, or being needlessly sick, or living in an unsafe environment...it drives us to do SOMETHING!

FH Canada knows what they're doing. They have a history of effectiveness and efficiency, and they go into communities with tailored plans that make sense and help get the communities standing on their own two feet. It's an honour for us to be engaged alongside them in their plan for Greater Lima, Peru. We've always had a heart for Peru, and it's a privilege to now be taking action.

All else aside, we know that we are called by the Lord to look after the poor and the orphaned. And so we strive to demonstrate compassion as Jesus did. We strive to be agents of reconciliation, and ambassadors of God's peace.
