Sherwood Park Alliance Church has been invited to walk alongside the African community of Mufumya, Burundi for the next 5-7 years and hopes the entire community of Sherwood Park will embrace it as well.

Who We Are
Together, these two communities will work towards transformative development as they grow and learn from each other. Through this partnership, Sherwood Park Alliance expects their church community to grow and transform through a heightened sense of community within Strathcona County. As well, they expect their deeper understanding of global issues and engagement to reflect how connected people are around the world through a shared hope for children and family and similar needs such as food, drink and healthy relationships. Steve Bell, a Canadian singer/songwriter says "We can no longer live as if the world is divided between us and them". We can make a difference in both communities.
