The people from Villa Hortencia ll are very happy and blessed for the first phase of the health center and are ready to work for the next phase because they want it to be finished as soon as posible. So the people will start to use it soon. As this community is very far from the town so it is diffucult to get medicines when children are very sick. It will benefit not only Villa Hortencia but also other nerby communities. We are very grateful to FHC, for bringing ACC church to bless and impact the life of many people in Guatemala. Our hear is filled of gratitud to our Lord.

"God wants us to have a quality life," concludes Juan Chavez, a leader in Villa Hortencia who has been instrumental in implementing training in his community.
Pictured here, Juan leads a meeting with community members and leaders.
In a country where 43% of children under the age of five are rated as 'chronically malnourished', Juan is working with FH to bring life-changing workshops on nutrition, family gardening, hygiene, and more to his neighbours.
Today we shout out to Juan and his home town of Villa Hortencia for taking a stand against poverty!
